Condolence: Bob, I was deeply saddened to hear of Barbs passing. It had been a few months since we had traded facebook messages and she seemed so positive, I had hoped she had it beaten. While we had not keep in touch since we both left University in Waterloo, it was wonderful to reconnect a the SCI Reunion. She was obviously still the same loving wonderful person I knew in High School. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. Willie

Condolence: Bob, Leslie and Madison: We were so saddened to hear about Barb. She was a wonderful person with such a cheerful dispostion despite the heartache in her life. Barb was Raymond's first EA and he was her first charge. They were a perfect fit and spent a couple of years together. We attended the concerts every year for "Remember the Dance" and got to meet many of Canada's talented musicians thanks to all your hard work. Thinking of you all during this very difficult time. We will always remember Barb/Mrs Fisher-Curran and her bright smile.

Although I hadn't seen Barb for a while our family will never forget her kindness and generosity when we were fundraising for our daughter's autism dog. Condolence From: Leslie, Gary & Jessi Dillon
Condolence: Our Deepest Sympathies To Barb's Family. We met Barb 18 years ago when our daughter started Kindergarten at the 'old' Nottawa School. We were very anxious about her going to school as we thought that no one could look after our tiny, precious girl like we could. Who would be her 'voice', her 'legs', her 'advocate'. Well, Barb was! Barb was an incredible woman, she was loving, funny, strong and a true inspiration! The world will be a sadder place without her but we are sure that She and Ethan will be 'teaching' all our other angels up in Heaven. Sincerely ~ Leslie, Gary & Jessi Dillon

Condolence: Our hearts go out to the Curran family, Barb was an incredible woman, she was our son's EA a few years ago. He absolutely loved his "Pishers", she was amazing with him, such kindness, patience and love are rare to find in a person, she was all of those qualities and so much more. Barb was and will forever be a beautiful soul who will be forever missed. We are grateful that we knew her and my son was blessed to have learned so much from her. There will never be another like her. Bob, Madison and Leslie we pray you find comfort and peace knowing she was loved by so many.

Condolence From: Donita Ruppert
Condolence: A rose once grew where all could see, sheltered by a garden wall, And as the days passed swiftly by, It spread its' branches straight and tall. One day a beam of light shone through a crevice that had opened wide, The rose bent gently towards its' warmth, then passed beyond to the other side. Now you who deeply feel its loss. Be comforted- the rose blooms there- It's beauty even greater now, nurtured by God's own loving care. May this poem bring you some comfort now as you deal with the loss of a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother. Barb will be greatly missed by many. Her journey here was short but she has touched and changed many lives.
