Weatherhead, Roy Vernon passed away peacefully on Monday July 31, 2017 at the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital in his 80th year. Roy will be deeply missed by his loving wife Lucy, daughter Lori (Doug) Eberhardt and sons Ralph (Leah) and Neil. Forever cherished by his grandchildren Kennith (Jenn), Kayla (Derek), Kaytlin, Johnathan, Tasha and Mark and his great granddaughters Kloey, Kaleigh and Jocelyn. Roy was one of nine children born to parents the late Peter and Margaret Weatherhead, he is survived by his brother Peter; predeceased by brothers Lloyd, Norman, John and William and sisters Eva Wilkinson, Gladys Worsley and Thelma Sharples. Visitation will be held at Fawcett Funeral Home – Collingwood Chapel on Tuesday August 8, 2017 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place in the chapel at 1 p.m. on Wednesday August 9, 2017. Interment at Westmount Baptist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the MS Society of Canada would be appreciated.
