Joan Kathleen “Kay” Hagerman
Hagerman, Joan Kathleen, passed away on November 29, 2018 at Campbell House at age 70, after a relentless battle with cancer. Kay graduated as a registered nurse at Toronto General Hospital in 1970. She spent her entire life taking care others, including her beloved husband Bob Hagerman, her children and their spouses Andrew West & Nicole Tattam (of Fort Saint John, BC) and Tamara West & Doug Smith and her “favorite granddaughter” Lily West (of Collingwood). Kay loved spending time with friends at hangar parties, pool exercise classes, playing cards and hosting dinner parties. She also loved giving instructions on the best way to accomplish all of the above. Special thanks to Dr. Recoskie and Cassie Steen for their exceptional advocacy and the entire staff and volunteers at Campbell House for their remarkable care and kindness. A celebration of life will take place at First Presbyterian Church in Collingwood at 1 p.m. on Friday May 10th with visitation one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Georgian Triangle - Campbell House would be appreciated by the family.
