It is with deep sadness, we announce the passing of Madge Eva Duff (Beck), born May 7, 1918 passed away in her 100th year. Beloved mother, sister, aunt, nana, friend and mentor. Madge was one of 9 children of the late Isaac and May Beck (Moore). Madge was married 53 years to the late Murray Duff. Loving mother to the late Nancy & Larry Goddard, Dianne Duff and mother in law to Joan (Bob) Charlton. She was a much loved nana to Susan & Ron Borbas, Stephen Goddard, Barbara Gilhula & Gregg Davies, Michelle & Kelly German, Colleen Duff, Erica & Chad Gooyers and an adoring great grandmother to Alexa Borbas, Jessica Gilhula & Rob Agnew, Joshua Gilhula, Jack German and Olivia Gooyers. Predeceased by her siblings Fred Beck, Ella Prail, Freda Simpson, Rene Crosbie, John Beck, Harold Beck, Lloyd Beck and Ethel Clendenning. Survived by sisters in law to Dorothy Beck and Rusty Beck.
As per Madge’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, followed by interment into Maple Leaf Cemetery in Chatham, Ontario.
