Obituary for Andrew MacDonald
Andrew John MacDonald passed away peacefully at home in Wasaga Beach, surrounded by family, on Father's Day, Sunday June 19, 2022, in his 97th year. Andrew was born in Scotland on May 19, 1926 to parents Andrew & Elizabeth MacDonald, and immigrated to Canada with his family in 1928.
Andrew will be remembered as a very hard working man who lived life on his own terms, and stayed
active right up until the end.
Andrew was predeceased by his loving wife Eva Marie (2007), sons Brian (1974) and Doug (2007), and daughter Linda (1989). He is survived by his loving children Heather, Margaret, Robin, Sandy, Lorrie (Warren), Kimmie, Andy, Kellie and Shawn (Darlene). Andrew will be dearly missed by his long time companion, Little Tom, the dachshund. Andrew's legacy will live on through his many, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
As per Andrew's wishes, cremation has taken place and interment will be at a later date.
