Simonato, Ann (nee Foley) died peacefully on Monday June 7, 2021 at Balmoral Retirement Home in her 85th year. Ann, beloved wife of Frank Simonato was born on May 22, 1937 in Collingwood to parents Arthur and Jessie Foley. She will be remembered by her brother Sonny Foley, nephew Tim and his wife Shannon and their children Britt and Bruce. Also remembered by Angie Vancise, Don (Joyce) Brown, Bill (Lainie) Brown, Bob (Jane) Brown, Patti Shields (Steph Rusnak), Margie McEachern (Henry Verstegen) and Bert Bendell; predeceased by Maryann Bendell and Fran Jordan. Ann will be deeply missed by Charlie, her canine companion. Many thanks and gratitude to the staff at Balmoral and St. Elizabeth for their kindness, compassion and care. As per her wishes cremation has taken place. To honour her love of animals memorial donations may be made to the Georgian Triangle Humane Society.
