Obituary for Barbara Pepper

It is with profound sadness that the family of Barbara A’Della Pepper announce her passing on Thursday December 29, 2022, at the age of 83.

Barb was the beloved mother of Joanne and Jeff, and mother in law of Jennifer. Her greatest pride and joy were her grandchildren, Cameron (Kristen), Robbie, and Katie. Bubba was their mentor and biggest supporter. Barb was predeceased by her husband Bob, and her parents Gordon and May (Robson) Stark.

As an only child, Barb was the gatherer of friends. She held them close and cherished each and everyone of them. From her extended family, her elementary and high school buddies, her teaching friends, The Bridgies, Golf Central, the neighbours, and many more, they all held a special place in her heart. She also loved meeting up with former students and right till the end she remembered them with fondness.

Shopping, skiing, reading, golfing, playing bridge, and spending time with family and friends were activities that made her extremely happy. Barb also loved traveling and was fortunate to have great travel buddies with whom she laughed with and made many memories. She is now on her final trip, one from which she will not be returning, but we hope it comes with a wonderful reunion with her husband, parents, family and friends that have gone before. Fly high! We will love you always and forever.

Our entire family wish to thank Dr Mike Lewin, the staff at Raglan Village, the staff of the Collingwood General and Marine Hospital, and everyone at Campbell House for their compassion and exceptional care. Your kindness was exemplary and will not be forgotten.

Visitation will take place at Fawcett Funeral Home on Wednesday January 4, 2023, from 2-4 pm. A private family service will be held at a later time.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Barb’s memory to Hospice Georgian Triangle - Campbell House.
