Betty Louise MacMurchy (nee Gillies)
Passed away peacefully at Sunset Manor Nursing Home in Collingwood on January 6, 2022. Betty in her 88th year was predeceased by her husband Donald Ian MacMurchy. Also predeceased by her sister Irene Habgood and brother Roger Gillies of Collingwood. Survived by her brother Neil & wife Karen Gillies of Parry Sound, sister Berniece and Don Kolkea of Collingwood, sister Verna Murray of Collingwood. Betty will be missed by her daughter Janice Giffen of Collingwood, grandson Frank & wife Rachael Giffen and great grandson Henry of Prince George, BC, grandson Jeremy & wife Amanda and great grandchildren James, Emily, Sarah, Kaylie and Chloe of Gravenhurst and granddaughter Katie Giffen of Collingwood, also missed by son Brian MacMurchy and granddaughter Melissa MacMurchy of Collingwood. Cremation has taken place. Due to covid restrictions a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
