David A Currie
July 17 1954 - April 11 2021
It is with heavy hearts our family announces the passing of David A Currie on April 11, 2021. Beloved husband of Kathy Currie (nee Schell). Predeceased by his parents Audrey and Curly Burnet and William "Jay" Currie. Loving father of Chris and Sara, Mike and Shelly, Jeff and Emily. The proudest Papa to David, Willa, Jack, Sam, Avery and Liam. He will be deeply missed by his siblings Bob and the late Lucy Currie, Diane the late Ron Scott, Stephen and Joanne Conklin.
David was known for his love of "my mountain" Tours through Gibraltar, his favorite sidekick Ruby, but most of all his love of his grandchildren.
We would love to thank the staff at CGMH & RVH Hospitals for their kindness and compassion during this difficult time.
As per David's wishes cremation has taken place. As an expression of sympathy donations in David's memory may be made to the CGMH or Hospice Georgian Triangle – Campbell House.
David's service will be by invitation only at First Presbyterian Cemetery on Saturday June 19th at 1 p.m. which will be available through livestream. Please use the link under the Photos and Video Tab above.
