March 31, 1940 – June 15, 2023
Passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family. David was the devoted son of the late Earle and Greta Wellwood. Beloved husband of almost 64 years of Margaret (nee Jarvis). Cherished father of Michael (Cindy) and Andrew (Brenda-Lee). Admired grandfather of Kody (Makayla) and Daryll (Natasha) and special great grandfather of Lily and Liam Wellwood, Lilla and Ellie Parsons, and Zara Vanderpost Masion. Eldest brother of the late Joyce, Ralphie, Gary and Daryl. Brother-in-law to Donna Wellwood. David will be remembered by the Jarvis, Stutz, Roberts, and Phillips families as well as longtime friends. Special thanks to Dr. Alyssa Boyd and Dr. Stephen Ross, Paramedic John, the PSW’s at St. Elizabeth and the nursing staff at Bayshore. Family and friends will be received for visitation at Fawcett Funeral Home – Collingwood Chapel on Friday June 23, 2023, from 1-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations to the Kidney Foundation, Diabetes Association or the Salvation Army may be made in David’s memory.
