The first son of Cyril Patrick Caines and Beatrice May Benoit born in Collingwood. Don is survived by his mother Beatrice (CJ) and his children Dariane Audrina (Jesse) and Breanna Rochelle (James) and Connor Brandon as well as two grandsons Aaron and Cullen. Also survived by sisters Frances, Beatrice (Dave), Cecilia (Kerry) and brothers Larry (Cindy) and James (Julie). Predeceased by his father “Patty” Caines and brother-in-law Ben York. Don will be remembered by 17 nieces and nephews and 29 great nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received for visitation on Thursday January 20, 2022, from 7-9 p.m. at Fawcett Funeral Home – Collingwood Chapel As capacity limits remain, please utilize the RSVP system (blue button) to schedule your visitation time. A private funeral service will be held on Friday January 21, 2022, at 1 p.m. the service will be available by livestream.
