Christie, Ed age 79 passed away peacefully with family by his side at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Toronto on Saturday November 30, 2019 from Acute Leukemia. Loving husband of the late Diane (nee McKee). Admired father of Michael and his wife Sandra and Dana and her husband Shawn. Cherished grandfather of Matthew, Michael, Kelly and Rachel. Ed will be remembered by his brothers George and his wife Fran and David and his wife Katie, sister in law Pat, brothers in law Steve and his wife Cherolyn, Ron and his wife Joanne and David and his wife Beattie and his many nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by his lifelong friend Sonny Foley. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday December 5, 2019 at Trinity United Church, with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers donations to the Blue Mountain Snowdrifters Snowmobile Club would be appreciated by the family to continue on the bridge work that Ed was involved with or Hospice Georgian Triangle.
