I am sorry to hear of Mrs Blakeman passing. I had Mrs Blakeman as a teacher back when I attended King George School and moving to Mountain View She was very caring and she is the teacher I remember most growing up in Collingwood. Later in life if I ever ran into her she always remembered me. I will always be a proud student from years gone by. May you rest in peace.

Dear Larry and Family, I am deeply saddened to know that Liz has passed away. I admired her very much as both a kind person and a dedicated teacher. Liz taught my daughter Paige in Grade 1 and teaching was truly her calling. In later years, we were both members of the retired teacher’s organization and I always enjoyed her friendly company. My heart goes out to all of you at this sad time. Hold tight together and share your beautiful memories.
Sincerely, Greta Horton

I am so very sorry to hear this news of Liz. She was a very special lady and taught all of our children in kindergarten giving them a happy start to their school years ahead. I so enjoyed all the many visits and wonderful talks she had with me in the hair salon. I know how proud she was of her whole family. I will miss Liz greatly and I will always hold my memories of her in my heart and I am so happy to have known such a fine lady. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Micheline and family xo
