Drake, Eunice Joan (nee Burkinshaw) passed away peacefully on Thursday January 27, 2022 at the Stayner Care Centre in her 97th year. Eunice was predeceased by her husband Clifford Drake. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Bruce (Lynn) Drake of Coboconk, Cliff (Judy) Drake of Nottawa and Gale (Donald) Horner of Collingwood; forever cherished by 11 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. Eunice was born in Toronto, March 5, 1925, to parents Albert and Emma Burkinshaw, she was predeceased by her sisters Joyce Dunseith, Dora Bayliss and Beverly Mercer. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. A private service will be held at Fawcett Funeral Home on Wednesday February 2, 2022 (livestream available under the Photos & Videos tab) with a graveside service at First Presbyterian Cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers donations to the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
