Lawton, Evelyn passed away peacefully on Sunday August 30, 2020 at Blue Mountain Manor in Stayner in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Rick Lawton (2003). Evelyn was born in Toronto to parents the late Joe & Jessie Kent. She is survived and remembered by her sister Marg (Colin) Baillie and their son Steven; predeceased by brother Jimmy and sisters Murial and Dorothy “Dollie”. She will be deeply missed by her dear friends Bill and Sandy. Evelyn was a longtime employee of Sears in Toronto and called both Glen Huron and Creemore home for many years. She was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 397 and was a bingo lover at heart. As per her wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held when conditions permit. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Evelyn may be made to a charity of choice.
