Peaceful loving thoughts to Fred's family. Fred was such a well loved man, always there with a smile and friendly conversation. My Step-Mother Cathy Wilson was indeed a best friend to Fred., she will miss him dearly. I was very lucky to see Fred in his home about two yrs ago now with my daughter when we went to Collingwood for a visit. What a life he had, and what a journey he will be on now in heaven. XOXO

What a wonderful man - first in servitude to his country, and then to his community and family. I will miss our visits (and those wonderful emailed jokes!). The Whiteheads were one of my favourite couples! I’m thinking of you as you mourn your loss. All of us who knew Fred feel it!
Sincerely, Cindy Lewis
