Neil, Gary David died Friday September 16, 2022, at St. Joseph’s Hospital of pancreatic cancer at the age of 57. Gary is survived by his loving wife and best friend Christine and will be remembered by her children Sandra (Jamie) Baverstock, Nicole (Ken) Horvath, Mark (Rebecca) Gagnon and the late Angie Ure. He loved his grandchildren Noah, Liam, Chase, Isla, Jake, Kendra, Sam, Riley, Landon and Hattie and they will forever cherish their memories of him. Gary was born in Collingwood to parents the late Gordon and Rose Neil. He is survived by his sister Kathy (Bill) Vance, brother Jerry McGill and mother in law Helen Lebert, predeceased by brothers Donald and Wayne and sister Priscilla.

Gary enjoyed life, spending time with family, and many friends. He was always there to help someone in need and to brighten the lives of others. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday September 24, 2022, at Trinity United Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
