Heather and my sister Helen hung out together every waking hour of the day. They couldn’t be separated. A third friend, Jewel was added to the twosome and they quickly became devoted to each other. This lasted through their childhood and adulthood. They were always there for each other. They mourned the passing of Helen and now Jewel is mourning them both. Heather, I hope you are with Helen and have found peace with no pain. I’m very blessed to have known you and witnessed the devotion you had for your family. Rest In Peace Heather. You will be missed.

Heather was wonderful lady who had a very infectious smile and laugh. We have been friends for many years and could go for long times without seeing each other and then pick up where we left off.

When she sang, Heather sounded like an angel and now Heather IS AN ANGEL. She has blessed many people with her magnificent voice . Heather was a wonderful asset to First Church choir and all the special choirs.

Condolences and Blessings to all her family. Keep in mind how special she was and hold on to that when sadness overwhelms you. Our lives are all richer because we knew and loved Heather. Sadly, she will be missed but we can think about her and her beautiful voice.

Having seen Heather perform at our church in January this year I was shocked to learn of her illness and eventual passing. Heather was present in an abundance of community events throughout the decades in Collingwood and beyond. She obviously loved to use her many talents to bring joy to others. She encouraged the same for her beautiful daughter Melissa. I sincerely express my condolences to Heather's family and am so sorry her life was cut short. Prayers to all. Sincerely, Kathryn Colantonio
