It is with great sadness that the family of Ida Joan Goodwin (nee Kent) announce her peaceful passing at the end of a beautiful spring day on April 8, 2021 at Bay Haven Care Community, Collingwood. She is predeceased by her husband William Goodwin (2005). Survived by her children Jim (Carol) Goodwin, Ron (Sandy) Goodwin, Tom (Sam) Goodwin and Janet (Steve) Hockley, grandchildren Christopher, Crystal, Cody, Angela, Nikki, Tara, Brad, Alex, Laura and Matthew and three great grandchildren. Ida is also survived by her sister Betty Simmonds and sister in law Lenore Goodwin. Predeceased by sisters Dorothy Ould, Mona Hanson and sister in law Marie Mills. Ida leaves behind many “bridge ladies” who had gathered together for 50 plus years for a game of cards and good cheer. She also leaves behind a very special friend of fifty five years, Carol Cockerill. If desired, donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
