Gibson, Irene (nee Paterson) passed away peacefully on Tuesday August 20, 2019 at Sunset Manor in her 94th year. Irene, beloved wife of the late Lorne (2017); mother of Lora Gibson (Richard Clark), David Gibson and the late Joseph Richard Gibson; cherished grandmother of Lindsay Clark (Kevin), Nicholas (Shelby) Clark, Christopher Gibson and Jennifer (Christopher) Kitchen; great grandmother of Lucien and Ainsley Clark. Irene was predeceased by her brother Gilbert ‘Bert’ Paterson and sisters Mary King and Jean Goodchild she will be remembered by her nieces and nephews, Irene and Jim King, Mary Lynn Kiraly, Lora Lee Sanella, Andrew Goodchild and Douglas Paterson. As per her wishes cremation has taken place and no formal services will be held. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to a charity of choice.
