Hewitt, James passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on Monday July 22, 2019 at Hospice Simcoe in Barrie at the age of 79 years. Jim will be lovingly remembered by his partner Marie Renton, his sisters Carol (Bill) McKernon and Joan (the late Bill) LaBoeuf and his brother Randy (Dana) Hewitt. Best known as “Jim the Barber” in Collingwood where he worked at the Modern Touch for over 45 years. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A celebration of life will be held at Fawcett Funeral Home – Collingwood Chapel on Tuesday July 30, 2019 from 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice Simcoe would be appreciated.
