Obituary for James Lambe
Lambe, James William passed away peacefully on Friday October 21, 2022, at Barrie Manor at the age of 70. Son of the late James and Helen Lambe. Jim is survived by his brother Dan, sister Sandra and sister in law Kim. He will be remembered with fondness and respect by his nephew Nathan (Alexis), niece Jennifer and great nephew Connor.
Jim retired to his hometown of Collingwood following a 47-year career with the Metropolitan Toronto Police. He believed in hard work and was proud to serve his community. He was a loyal friend to many and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A funeral service will be held on Friday October 28, 2022, at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 200 Maple St. Collingwood. The service will be available by livestream, Service Livestream. Interment at First Presbyterian Cemetery to follow. In lieu of flowers donations to Heart & Stroke may be made in Jim's memory.
