Obituary for Jane Anthony

Anthony, Jane (nee Russell) born January 4, 1940 surrounded and filled with love Jane passed on March 29, 2021 from a battle with cancer.

She shared over 60 years of marriage with her everlasting love Bill, both from Toronto. They raised their family in the north east part of the city, where their home enjoyed many get-togethers with family and friends. A wonderful time was had and she loved every minute of it.

She was so proud of her sons; boys that became responsible young men. Ron and his wife Helen the best daughter in law / daughter; a couple full of love. Chris passed away in 1998 and Jane never recovered from that loss. Andrew and his wife Asia; also full of love, and he has chosen to make his home and career in California. Granddaughter Allie, the sparkle in Jane’s eye. She considered herself blessed to have such a wonderful young lady on her side. Katie, the love has always and will always be there. She also loved her many nieces and nephews.

Even though Jane always said she was a big city girl, she and Bill decided to retire to Collingwood, which opened doors to all the best recreation, friendships and community of caring.

No funeral service, private family burial will take place at the First Presbyterian Cemetery.

Look deep into the skies night or day, and say ‘Hello Friend.’ Live, laugh and love.

In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice Georgian Triangle would be appreciated by the family.
