Obituary for Joan Brownridge
Joan Ida Deleana Brownridge (nee Playter)
October 25 1932- May 21 2019
Wife, mother, volunteer and ultimate caregiver. A lifelong resident of Collingwood, Joan enjoyed her life and especially loved living on the shores of Georgian Bay. For the last 5 years she has missed her beloved husband of 55 years Paul and now joins him in heaven.
She is survived by her son James Patrick Brownridge (Arlene Davis) and grandson Adam James Brownridge, daughter Jan Michele Brownridge (Michael Walsh). Missed by many nieces and nephews.
Thank you to the staff at Raglan Village and to Gillian Anderson for their compassionate care. Private family services have taken place. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Georgian Triangle Humane Society in Joan’s memory.
