Obituary for John Corrigan

John Sinclair Corrigan
1938 - 2021

John died at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie on December 27, 2021 after a short illness, surrounded by family.

Eldest son of Jack and Marg Corrigan, he was born in Toronto on 15 February 1938. He is dearly missed by wife of 55 years Lynn and his children Christopher (Caitlin), Tim and Suzanne (Steve), in whom he took great pride, and his cherished grandchildren Áine, Finn, Rebecca and Sydney, all of whom loved him dearly. He is also missed by his siblings Martha (Geoff), Nora (Doug), Fred (Linda) and Sheila.

John attended UTS and graduated from the University of Toronto in 1961. He was a member of the U.N.T.D at University, was commissioned into the RCNR and retired with the rank of Lieutenant in 1965. He had a long career in Information Technology from 1961 to his retirement in 1997.

His retirement years were spent in the Town of the Blue Mountains in the beautiful Beaver Valley where he was very active in volunteer and leisure activities.

Thanks to the staff at RVH. Cremation has taken place and funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date.
