So so sorry to hear about your dad's passing. Losing a loved one is very difficult, but losing a parent to me is so much harder. Please keep your many memories, special times, adventures and so much more close to you. As so many share their love, thoughts and prayers here.....may it be of some comfort to you all. Keeping you close in my thoughts and prayers.

My thoughts and prayers go out to John's family.
I had the pleasure getting know John while working at MacLean Engineering.
The story that comes to my mind is how seriously he took his golf game. I was on his team for the golfing event at work. He said to me I hope you went out and hit a bucket of balls. I asked him if he really thought that would help my game. The once a year that I would be golfing. He would let you know when you did make a good hot. Great guy and will be missed by many.

John will be missed by those that worked with him, his dry sense of humor his blunt and truthful descriptions of any project always kept everyone on their toes. John was also a great mentor to many starting out their careers. Great memories from the Shipyard, MacLean Engineering as well as golfing events.
