John William Owen Murray passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Thursday , December 12, 2019 at Campbell House Hospice in his 77th year. John Beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Tucker). Loving father of David, Ian (Wendy) Murray, Janice (Frank) Wilson and Angie (Ian) Hockley. Dear brother of the late Tom (Darlene), Katherine (Gar), Jim (Shirley), the late Mike, the late Doug and his surviving wife June, Pat, Mitch (Janey), Steve (Marie), Donnie (Donna) and Ron (Brenda). Will be forever cherished in the hearts of his 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren as well as his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased also by his parents Thomas "Bunn" and Jessie Murray. At John's request, cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday January 11, 2020 from 1-4 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion Collingwood. In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice Georgian Triangle – Campbell House would be appreciated.
