Goode, Joyce (nee Haney) passed away peacefully at home on Monday December 5, 2022, at the age of 98. Predeceased by her husband John Goode. Joyce will be remembered as the proud and loving mother of Eric (Judy), Linda (Taryn) and Richard (Susan), cherished grandmother of Christopher (Laura), Ian (Dagmar), Nicole and Stephanie and great grandmother of Ben, Kate, Lars and Finn. Joyce was a very independent, adventurous individual. She loved socializing, gardening, sailing, and skiing earlier in her life and took up flying airplanes at age 80. She very much enjoyed living in her home and remained in charge of her life up until her last day. Joyce will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Family and friends will be received for visitation at Fawcett Funeral Home - Collingwood on Friday December 16, 2022, from 1-3 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations in Joyce’s memory may be made to the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital Foundation or Hospice Georgian Triangle.
