Obituary for Kenneth Jackson
Kenneth W Jackson
In his 84th year, Ken passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving wife Nancy and his children Rozlyn (Sam Nella) Jennifer (Jeff Wilkins) Craig (Karen Jackson) and Kelly (Mike Alkier).
His pride and joy were his 12 grandchildren and 11 GREAT grandchildren.
He was brother to his siblings Orville (Joanne), Gloria (Gord) Delbert (Eleanor-both deceased) Arlene (Brian-deceased) Bob (Heather) and Pat (Don-deceased)
Dad will be missed seen standing at horse shows, ski hills, dirt bike tracks, soccer fields, skateboard parks and school theatre productions. Watching and cheering for his family and grandchildren (and their friends) was a joy for him alongside Nancy.
For him it was a way of "participating vicariously".
A HUGE Thank you to the caregivers from CDI, St Elizabeths and Right at Home. Their professionalism and empathy were much appreciated by Dad and the family. Please make a donation to the charity closest to your heart and/or reach out to a cold hand with your warm heart. Dad was always concerned with one's comfort. A private service will be held in Collingwood with a Celebration of Life at a later date.
