My sister was wonderful. From a very little girl she was always there for me. Very loving person. My first day in grade one she peeked in the door to see I was ok. We always had lots of fun. When we went to bed we would giggle and laugh. Mom would call in and tell us settle down and we would giggle even more. She taught me how to skate. She always would bring all the neighbours children in and line us all up and begin to try and teach us. Of course we would all miss behave . She loved teaching. As an adult I always spent my holidays with Laura. In winter we would lay in the snow and make snow angels. She was 7 years older , . Best sister I could ever wish for. She loved family and children. The last few months I phoned her often. I shall miss talking to her. She was loved by all. Doc was the love of her life. They loved to dance. She is with him now in heaven . God bless her Her sister Arlette

A mother, a wife, a teacher and most off all the truest definition of a lady that I had the pleasure of knowing. Rest in peace Lady Laura.

A mother is a selfless, loving human who must sacrifice many of their wants and needs for the wants and needs of their children. This is Laura in a nutshell. The truest definition of a lady that I had the pleasure of meeting. Beauty, grace, humor, style are just some of the words that come to mind but a lady and the most amazing mother are what stick with me most. Londy and Todd were fortunate to have you and Doc as guidance through life. It was not till her passing that I learned she was often called "Lady Laura" and it is so fitting. The world just got a little sadder with your passing, but what a legacy you left behind.
