Obituary for Lisa Collingwood
COLLINGWOOD, Lisa Louise (nee Carr) (September 9th, 1964 - May 22nd, 2023)
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Lisa on Monday May 22nd, 2023.
Lisa was a caring mother to her two daughters Samantha and Alexandra (Carter). Lisa is predeceased by her parents Stanley and Marion, and her husband Brian. Lisa will be deeply missed by her sisters, Dana, Cindy (Jerry), Christina, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Lisa always looked for ways to foster community and had the unique ability to make everyone feel welcome and loved wherever she was. She often shared her love of food with her treasured friends, or joined the festivities at Craigleith Ski Club, where she was a proud member for over 20 years.
Lisa’s kindness was exemplified by her love of animals so in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Georgian Triangle Humane Society in Lisa’s memory.
A celebration of Lisa’s life will be held at a future date.
