It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Luise on October 11, 2020.
Born in Ulm, Germany on July 20, 1940 she moved to Mississauga, Ontario in March 1975. She equally loved Germany and Canada and was thankful to call both places her home. She ultimately settled in The Blue Mountains, ON where she was able to enjoy the outdoors and her passion for gardening.
Luise was caring and compassionate. She will be remembered for the love of her family and her zest for life. She is preceded in death by her husband Wolf Mueller. Luise is survived by her son, Michael (Cindy) Mueller, her daughter Ulla Mueller (Richard Hutton), and her grandchildren Pilar and Nicholas Mueller. She will also be greatly missed by her family in Germany, including her siblings Resi, Ludwig, and Sepp, her nieces and nephews, as well as many friends in Canada and abroad.
A private service will be held at Fawcett Funeral Homes in Collingwood and a Celebration of Life will be held at a time when circumstances allow friends and family to share memories and stories.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice Georgian Triangle.
