Edwards, Charles Albert McCutcheon ‘Mac’ passed away peacefully on Thursday September 26, 2019 surrounded by the love on his family at Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie at the age of 70 years. Mac, loving husband of Florene (nee McCarl); father of Scott (Lynn) and Mike (Jenn); proud grandfather of Anthony, Zachery, Charlie and Michael. He was predeceased by his father Albert Edwards, mother Edna and step father John D. Long and his sister Ann (late Keith) MacDonald. He will be remembered by his mother in law Florence McCarl (late Neil), sisters in law Isobel (Paul) Deacon, Patricia McCarl, Yvonne (Jim) Kane, brothers in law Ron (Marg), Jack (Debbie) and Alex (Tammy) McCarl, his many nieces and nephews, sister in law Pat McCarl and friends. Mac will be missed by his 4 legged companions Sadie, Chelsea, Sammi and Hemi. A private family service will be held at Fawcett Funeral Home. Friends are invited to a celebration of life on Saturday November 2, 2019 from 1-4 p.m. at the Singhampton Community Centre. In lieu of flowers donations to the Kidney Foundation or Collingwood General & Marine Hospital Dialysis Unit would be appreciated.
