Our condolences to Jack and your family Heather. We remember Marilyn fondly over the years at Craigleigth. Fly swatter in hand and young Natalie running around. Miss our visits with our Craigleigth family and we always look at the site Marilyn and Jack were on and smile remembering our annual visits with special people. She will be missed but leaves some great memories. Hugs to everyone. Paul and Chris Hogg

Thanks Rob, yes she was always your aunt Mernie, which she always liked to hear you say that, when you were starting to talk, you could not say Marilyn, so it was always aunt Mernie and it was nice that you kept saying it to her as you grew up.

I remember when Jack first met and began courting Marilyn. They were so much in love with each other then. And their unselfish devotion to each other for more than the last sixty years has only reinforced my own belief that the only real 'meaning of life' for we humans as we journey through life is, 'To love and be loved!'

Thank you Jim for sharing your memories of mom. You are so right most marriages don’t last that long anymore. People in general don’t put the effort or devotion into a relationship like they did years ago. Thank you again for your thoughtfulness. Heather

My mom Dorothy and I know that Marilyn absolutely adored her family because most of our conversations over the last few years have been about them .
Some of my best times working at D C Taylor‘s were because of Marilyn. She had a wonderful sense of humor and could always make me laugh. I loved that if she ever did something she wasn’t sure about, she would ask Jack‘s opinion first then, confess to it later.
(Setting the thermostat temperature is one example, right Jack?)
Marilyn and I worked together for seven years and even though she has been retired for 18 1/2 years I feel very fortunate to have still had her as a friend.
Dorothy, who has been a party to most of our antics and has definitely heard all of the stories and I will miss her terribly.
Much Love,
Lorrie, Dorothy and of course Honey,
who Marilyn always asked about.
