Patricia Lorraine Bell (nee. Sammons)
March 17, 1943 - January 1, 2023
It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Patricia Lorraine Bell, on January 1, 2023 at Collingwood General & Marine Hospital, with family by her side.
Beloved Mother to Don Shaw (Lisa Pauli) & Scott Shaw, Dearest Grandmother to Spencer Shaw (Shannon Alexander-Shaw) & Grandmother/Adopted Mother to Stephanie Whiteley (Shane Reid).
Pat was predeceased by her Parents, Ellen & William (Harry) Sammons, and her Brother & Sister-in-law, Bill & Wilma Sammons. Survived by her brothers Lawrence Sammons (Patty Huish-Sammons) & Jerry Sammons (Janet Sammons), she will be fondly remembered by all of her extended family.
A lover of music, old fashioned movies, fashion, and animals - especially cats - Pat enjoyed spending time with family the most. She was affiliated with the First Presbyterian Church and always cherished the friends and memories she gained during her time there.
There will be no Funeral Service held, instead a Celebration of Life will be scheduled for summer 2023. In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to the Georgian Triangle Humane Society in her honour.
