Pat, my dear lovely Pat...

You touched my life in so many were a very dear friend to me. All the laughter, the life stories, and the meaningful exchanges we had will always be treasured and kept close to my heart. You and I made a great team. I'm so thankful that I met you -- my feisty and cheeky Pat :) Your leaving breaks my heart. My daughter Faye will miss you, her pen pal. Please watch us from above and always remind me to be strong as you often did. I shall see you someday again, my friend.

All my love,

hi pat! I know that you are in a better place now. but I will really miss you. you made mama's life happier and that makes me happy. I will really really miss you. I know you will be gone forever. but you will always stay alive in my heart. I hope you still write to me my #1 pen pal... I will never forget you and I know you wont forget me.

Love, Faye

I had the pleasure of caring for Pat when she lived at Bay Haven Retirement Home. I worked in the Recreation Department. I loved our weekly chats and check ins. Pat was a lover of books, reading as many as 10 a month. She was very smart and passionate about learning and staying engaged which always made for interesting conversation. I’m so sorry to learn of her passing. My thoughts are with her family.
