It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia Marie Gilbert (nee Wylie) of
Collingwood, Ontario. Pat passed peacefully on November 11th at the Collingwood General and Marine
Hospital, with her family around her in her 79th year. Daughter of Enos Dougald Haig Wylie and Audrey
Wylie (predeceased), loving wife of Laurie Gilbert, mother of Cathy Doyle and Donna McLeod,
grandmother of Cory (Shery) Lachlan, Kyle, Katie, Patrick and Ginny Doyle, great grandmother of Ty,
Brett, Alex and Ryan Lachlan, sister of Carole Sullivan and Sandra (Bob) McLean. She will be sadly
missed by many other family and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 15th, 2019 from 11am to 1pm at Fawcett Funeral Home, 82 Pine
Street, Collingwood, Ontario, funeral at 1pm followed by a reception, also at Fawcett's, where we can
share memories and laughter, which was one of her favourite things to do. Donations to the Heart and
Stroke Foundation can be made in Pat's honour.
