Mather, Roy Lloyd “Hawkeye” passed away peacefully on Monday March 7, 2022, at the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital in his 88th year. Roy is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Barbara (nee McQueen). He will be remembered as the proud and loving father of Ron (Stacey) and Sandra (Andy) Mather, cherished Papa of Carrie (Drew), Cory (Charlotte), Christopher, Taylor, and Makaela. Survived also by his brothers Larry, Denis, and sisters Shirley, Elsie and Ruth; predeceased by siblings Bob, Don, Sam, Dorothy, Ada, Bill, Calvin, Mel, Ivan, and Joyce. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. A service of remembrance will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday March 16, 2022, at Fawcett Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the CNIB or a charity of choice.
