Obituary for Rudolf Schumann
It is with great sadness that the family of Rudolf (Rudi) Schumann announces his peaceful passing on February 23, 2019 at the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital in his 91st year.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends: beloved husband of Elisabeth; proud father of Erhard (Rosemary), Jacquie (the late Guy) Smith, Christina (Patrick) Cannon. Opa will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Alex, Andrew, Chris, Natasha, Alexis, Thomas, Emma and Elise and great grandchildren Isabelle and Wilhelm. Rudi will be missed by extended family in Germany and USA. Rudi is predeceased by his brother George.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday March 8, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. at Fawcett Funeral Home – Collingwood Chapel. In lieu of flowers donations to the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
