Patrick, Ruth Naomi
Ruth Naomi Patrick, daughter of Wallace James Miller and Nellie Cecilia Rennie, originally from Halifax, Nova Scotia but since a long-time resident of Collingwood, Ontario, passed away at 85 years of age on Saturday, May 27 with family by her side. The vast majority who knew her, loved her kind sole, giving spirit and uplifting personality. Her life was small in terms of footsteps, as she loved to walk wherever she needed to go, but yet large and impactful as the people she encountered, either friends or acquaintances, were inspired by her positive outlook on life, her willingness to help anyone and everyone, and just the authentic warmth and kindness she emanated. Ruth was predeceased by her daughter, Cheryl Naomi Russell (Patrick) and her brother James Miller. Ruth is survived by her children Frederick, David, Scott (Michelle), her grandchildren Victoria (Scott), Robert, James and Evan, and her great-grandchildren Ben, Owen, and Elise. Ruth will be missed dearly, but is reunited with Cheryl, where they are undoubtedly smiling together.
