George Edwin Barker
May 11, 1933 – July 28, 2017
George passed away peacefully at the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital. He is survived by his beloved wife Marlene and sons Barry (Helen) and Larry (Shelley); predeceased by sons Terry and Jerry. He will be forever loved by his 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Son of the late George and Verna Barker; brother of Jean (Jim) Lester, June (Bob) Yesser, Jesse (Peter) Garrick, Julie (George) Criddle, Garwood (Kitty), Jacqueline Newby (Frank McCutcheon), John (Leanne) Newby and Margaret (Roland) Wakeman. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday August 3, 2017 at New Life Church. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
