Allen Lawrence Hartwig went home to be with his Lord on Monday May 30, 2011 in his 84th year. Beloved husband of the late Marjorie (nee Coghill). Loving father of Ken (Linda) Hartwig, Karen (Kevin) Lageer and Kristine Humphrey. Cherished Poppa of Aaron, Joshua, Philip, Jordanna, Sarah, Brittany and Taylor. Allen was the brother of the late Harold (Dorothy), the late Gilbert (Gwen), Lawrence (the late Leona), Nelson (Rosemary), Art (Vera), twin sister Vera (Elmer) Krieger, the late Hazel (Gilbert) Welk and Genny (the late Willard) Gienow. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be held at Fawcett Funeral Home – Collingwood Chapel on Wednesday June 1, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place at 1 p.m. on Thursday June 2, 2011 at Collingwood Evangelical Missionary Church, 19 Cameron St. In lieu of flowers donations to Collingwood Evangelical Missionary Church or Charity of Choice would be appreciated by the family.
