It is with great sadness that we share the sudden passing of David Cook on Monday February 17, 2020. David was the proud, loving and much loved father of Levi, son of Bob and Betty-Jean Cook, brother to Lindsay (Damon), uncle to Sam and Toby Clarke. David also leaves behind Levi’s mother Mariana McElroy. David was a caring and considerate friend who will be missed by many. A celebration of David's life will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers donations to the Georgian Triangle Humane Society or CAMH would be appreciated by the family.

My deepest sympathies and condolences. David and I spent many summers together in Wasaga Beach as children and teenagers. Lots of swimming, sand castles, bike riding, catching bugs, making forts, digging holes, Monopoly, Risk, BBQs, movies, ice cream, capture the flag and generally terrorizing the neighborhood. David was a fixture of my youth. I'll always cherish those amazing memories.

I am so sorry to hear this news. So many fun memories of days at the Glen with his great spirit. My condolences, and much love and light to Levi and Mariana, Betty-Jean and Bob, and Lindsay and her family.

Our sincere sympathy to David's family, especially Mariana and Levi. We knew them from our neighbourhood and enjoyed occasional chats and catch-ups. David actually installed our rock face at the front of our home when we were finishing the house and we found him to be such a personable young man. We were so happy for David and Mariana when Levi was born... they seemed so happy to have Levi in their lives. We were sad when they moved away but we enjoyed our occasional encounters with Mariana over the past few years. Saddened to hear of David's passing, we hope that the love and support of family and friends will bring comfort to Mariana and Levi and David's family.
Marlene & Richard Dewey (Wasaga Beach).
